Raichelle Lloyd, LMSW is a licensed master social worker dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self. She currently serves as a Battering Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP) facilitator with a domestic violence prevention nonprofit, where she practices accountability-based intervention and promotes long-term behavior change. As a domestic violence survivor herself, Raichelle brings a trauma-informed, and deeply empathetic perspective to her work. Her lived experience enhances her ability to create a safe, trusting, and an empowering therapeutic space, particularly for clients navigating trauma, relational challenges, recovery, and patterns of harm.
Raichelle uses trauma-informed methods along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based practices to help clients understand complex patterns related to relationships, navigate emotional and psychological challenges, and develop coping strategies necessary for sustainable change. Tailoring each session to meet clients where they are, Raichelle is dedicated to empowering clients, fostering insight, and helping individuals develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, and Master of Social Work from The University of Houston and has clinical experience in individual and group counseling, substance abuse treatment, and intervention/prevention strategies to interrupt cycles of harm.
Raichelle’s mission as a mental health professional is for clients to discover their own true strength and value and develop the capacity to manage life’s challenges.
